Role: UX lead | Information design | Pitch design

THE CHALLENGE
Traditional radio needed reinvention for digital audiences. BBC wanted to explore interactive radio experiences that combined live audio with visual engagement, creating companion content for multi-platform consumption. The goal was transforming passive listening into active, visual participation while maintaining radio's intimacy.

MY APPROACH
Led a small cross-functional team of designers and producers to visualise and pitch AI integration with live music. Created a compelling pitch deck balancing visionary future potential with practical implementation steps for live broadcasts. Developed modular visual frameworks that synced with broadcast schedules and adapted across radio genres. Tested concepts through low-fidelity prototypes before presenting to BBC leadership and Sony collaborators.

THE OUTCOME
Not all project outcomes and deliverables can be shared at this time due to ongoing commercial sensitivities. Proved interactive visuals could enhance (not distract from) radio's core listening experience.
